My Profile

I am a qualified teacher with 24 years experience and CRB checked. I graduated from Swansea University in 2001 (PGCE in Secondary Education).

I have worked mainly with primary and secondary school children, but I also have experience in teaching adults at all levels.

Throughout my career, I have taught a range of subjects such as French, ESOL, English Language and Literature, Mathematics, History, Geography, R.E., Art and supported adults with their higher education studies.

For the past 10 years, I have been working with children and adults with complex additional needs. In 2020, I obtained my Masters in Inclusive and Special Education from the University of Nottingham with distinction, and started Derwen Tuition in 2023 in the heart of Parc Derwen, Bridgend.
